    ich habe über die Stromversorgungsleitung und das Speaker-Kabel jeweils eine passende
    Schweinenase gesteckt und mit Schrumpfschlauch isoliert und zwar als Gleichtakt-Variante.

    mir ist noch etwas aufgefallen:
    die Option Noice Blacker "NB" bringt zu meinem Ohr keine Unterschiede beim Schalten der drei NB Optionen.


    Wie ist das bei Euch ?

    Hallo Zusammen,


    ich hätte zu diesem Gerät eine Frage. Hat jemand schon digitale Betriebsarten mit diesem Gerät gemacht? Da ich nur digital Arbeite wäre es interessant zu wissen ob es mit diesem Gerät möglich ist. Über die Mikrofonbuchse?
    Ausserdem würde mich interessieren ob eine Vox vorhanden ist.

    Eine Vox hat der X108G nicht. Es gibt hier bislang nur einen Erfahrungsbericht von Carl, M0CLS aus der X108 Yahoo Gruppe, den ich mir hier erlaube möchte, zu zitieren:

    I have successfully interfaced my X108G with my PC for using digital modes so I thought i would share how it was done.

    Firstly the Accessory port on the back of the radio doesn't appear to support PTT switching so I have opted for using the RJ45 mic jack instead.


    I bought an easy fit RJ45 connector from ebay for a couple quid and they come in packs of 10! They are supposed to be fitted to the cable with a special crimp tool but I found that a flat head screwdriver did the trick :)


    The interface I'm using is the Signalink USB which happens to have a RJ45 connector as well so I needed to make a RJ45 to RJ45 jumper between radio and interface, the X108G uses the same mic wiring as modern Icom transceivers so after googling the icom pinout I was away...


    The best thing about the Signalink is it has a set of 8 jumpers inside the interface to make wiring it up much easier! All I had to do is wire my RJ45 jumper cable like for like then adjust the pinouts inside the Signalink for the correct wiring.


    One issue I ran into with the Mic connector on the X108G is that it doesn't support Audio Out so to overcome this I routed out a standard 3.5mm audio cable to connect from the Speaker jack on the back of the radio to the handy AUX on the back of the Signalink which now puts my radio audio out to the interface! Audio in and PTT switching is of cause handled at the Mic jack.


    The Signalink has a built in soundcard so all you have to do is run the USB cable from the PC to the Signalink and away you go.


    I have made several contacts with both PSK31 and JT65 and the waterfall is clean and clear, to adjust TX for correct ALC you just turn the TX control on the Signalink back until your power just drops down a little and hold it there. Audio RX control should be adjusted so the waterfall is showing signals but not to high that it becomes to noisy.


    Anyone about to use the X108G with Digimodes and needs any help with setup give me a shout.

    ich habe mal die Leistung in verschiedene Messbereichen bestimmt.


    Netzteil SEC1223 Spannung = 13,9V
    Die Leistungsmessung erfolgt über
    a) ein 50R 100W Dummyload mit -20dB Auskopplung
    b) einem Rigol DS1102E mit 50R (RL > -30dB) Leitungsabschluss


    Ich habe auf verschiedenen Frequenzen die Leistung im CW Mode 0,5kHz bei
    0.5W, 1W, 2.5W, 5.0W bis 20.0W über eine Spannungsmessung Uss ermittelt.

    Die Abweichungen bei 5 Watt sind ja eher vernachlässigbar.
    Die Spitzenleistung von 20 Watt wird aber auf allen Bändern erreicht oder sogar deutlich übertroffen
